HOW TO UNLOCK INCOMING AND OUTGOING SMS

 NOT ABLE TO SEND AND/OR RECEIVE SAFARICOM  SMS.


With the different offers that Safaricom has on SMS e.g;
2 SMS daily at 1/=
6 SMS daily at 3/=
20 SMS daily at 5/=
200 SMS daily at 10/=
500 SMS daily at 20/=
among others it is useless if you can not send or even receive SMS on your Safaricom line.
here is a quick fix on how to fix that small problem.

To activate outgoing SMS.

1. First of all switch your phone on. We are not performing Magic so your phone needs to be on!
2. Dial
 *33*0000*16# don't worry if your phone displays this *33*----*16# this is how most phones display the 0000.
3. you will get a pop up telling you all outgoing text message active.

To activate incoming SMS

1. As usual switch on your phone.
2. Dial
*35*0000*16# don't worry if your phone displays this *35*----*16# this is how most phones display the 0000.
3. you will get a pop up telling you all incoming text message active.

Now you can subscribe to all the different SMS plan via *188# and enjoy texting.
